A complete fly fishing experience, suitable for anglers of all skill levels. The Passirio River, in the heart of Val Passiria (Passeier Valley) in South Tyrol, offers an incredibly diverse environment, ranging from the wider valley sections to the higher, faster, and more technical mountain stretches around San Martino in Passiria, Moso in Passiria, Corvara, and Plan.

Its waters are home to brown trout, marble trout, their natural hybrids, and rainbow trout, providing excellent opportunities for all the main fly fishing techniques: nymph, streamer, and dry fly fishing. Nymph and streamer fishing are particularly productive throughout the season, while dry fly fishing can be exceptional in the upper sections when the water is clear.

Thanks to its wide variety of water types, the Passirio River is an ideal destination for both beginners and experienced anglers looking for a technical challenge. The fishing season runs from February to September, offering months of outstanding opportunities in one of the most beautiful Alpine settings.

Beyond fishing, Val Passiria offers an authentic mountain experience, with countless hiking trails leading through forests, alpine peaks, and glaciers. Accommodation ranges from simple guesthouses to luxury hotels, while the outstanding local cuisine is another highlight, making every day on the river even more enjoyable.
