The Alto Sarca, in the heart of Trentino, is one of the most fascinating fly fishing destinations in the Alps, stretching from Comano Terme through Val Rendena, Tione di Trento and Pinzolo, all the way to Madonna di Campiglio, at the foot of the spectacular Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello Brenta Nature Park.

The area offers an extraordinary variety of waters, ranging from the main valley river to mountain streams and high-altitude alpine lakes. Among the most renowned fisheries are the Sarca di Campiglio, Sarca di Nambrone, Sarca di Val Genova, the Arnò Stream, and numerous tributaries flowing through the surrounding valleys, including Val Brenta with the Rio Vallesinella and Val San Valentino. Stunning alpine lakes such as Lago Nambino and the Cornisello Lakes further enrich the experience, while Lago Nembia is an excellent choice for beginners thanks to its easy-access stillwater fishery.

These waters are home to brown trout, marble trout, their natural hybrids, and Arctic char, offering outstanding opportunities for all the main fly fishing techniques: nymph, streamer, and dry fly fishing. From exciting summer hatches and sight fishing with dry flies to hunting trout in crystal-clear mountain streams and modern nymph fishing in the valley waters, every angler can find the perfect setting for an unforgettable day on the water.
