The Vision XO Catapult Flyrod is the Fast action version of the prestigious XO series, Vision's flagship rod range. Designed and developed in Finland, it incorporates more than 25 years of experience in fly rod design and manufacturing, with the aim of delivering uncompromising performance.
Its construction combines upgraded carbon quality with graphene-reinforced resin and an improved blend of different carbon fibres. Graphene, recognised as the strongest material tested in the world, contributes to an exceptionally high-performance blank with enhanced recovery speed and sensitivity.
Unlike the XO III, the Catapult features a Fast action that delivers powerful and responsive performance. It is designed to produce exceptionally tight loops and handle fast-sinking lines efficiently, making it an excellent choice when powerful casts, precision and line control are essential.
The natural, unsanded and unpainted blank is designed to bring out the very best in the rod's action. Components include a precision-machined up-locking aluminium reel seat, high-quality Portuguese cork with rubber cork reinforcements and titanium stripping guides. The rod features a four-piece construction and comes supplied with a triangular Cordura tube and cloth bag.
