Vision - Merisuola Musky Flyrod

The Vision Merisuola Musky Flyrod represents the next level in premium rods designed for targeting large predators. Developed for musky, pike, halibut, catfish and other powerful, large-growing species, it combines high-end materials, exceptional strength and specialised features for fishing with oversized streamers.

Every rod is reinforced with graphene, one of the strongest materials ever tested, allowing for a lighter yet stronger construction. The Medium Fast action provides an impressive amount of power, essential for casting extremely large flies and handling demanding fights with powerful fish.

The natural, unsanded and unpainted blank is designed to deliver the best possible action. One of the most distinctive features is the extended Full Wells EVA handle, developed specifically for musky fishing. The extended front and rear grips make the figure eight technique easier when a predator follows the fly right up to the boat. The long rear handle also provides excellent arm support during long casting sessions with huge flies and when fighting large fish.

Both models are 8'8" long. The #10 version is particularly enjoyable for boat fishing for pike, while the more powerful #12 model is designed for exceptionally large species such as halibut and catfish.

The components include patented REC Recoil nickel-titanium stripping guides and REC snake guides. Each rod is supplied in a custom aluminium tube with engraved metal end caps, together with a quality cloth bag.
