Selected Rooster Tail Feathers are packs of 5 carefully selected feathers taken from the lower section of rooster neck capes, known for their long, straight and durable fibers, ideal for tying fly tails.

These feathers measure approximately 15 to 20 cm in length, with fibers ranging from 2 to 4 cm, making them perfect for creating well-proportioned tails on nymphs, dry flies and wet flies. The natural stiffness and structure of the fibers allow for clean, well-separated and realistic tails.

Due to the fiber length, each feather can provide tail material for many flies, making this a very practical and efficient material for fly tying.

The available colors are among the most widely used in classic and modern fly patterns.
