Cortland - Fly Line - Streamer Series - Streamer Floating

The Cortland Streamer Floating is purpose-built for streamer fishing, delivering excellent performance whether fishing from the bank or from a boat. Its short, aggressive taper design makes it easy to cast large, heavy flies with minimal effort and fewer false casts.

This line features an over-weighted floating head, built a full line size heavy, allowing it to quickly load fast action modern rods. The short 5 meter body, combined with a 1 meter front taper, efficiently turns over large weighted streamers while maintaining accuracy and control.

The floating head provides complete control when fishing tight to structure, banging banks, retrieving heavy streamers, or mousing at night, where precise line management is critical.

The braided nylon multifilament core, paired with Cortland’s Shooting Technology, keeps the line slick, smooth and fast shooting by reducing friction through the guides throughout the line’s lifespan.

The Olive / Green dual color profile clearly identifies taper transitions, helping anglers fine-tune casting distance and improve overall efficiency on the water.
