Cortland - Fly Line - Speciality Series - Pike Musky Sink 8

The Cortland Pike Musky Sink 8 from the Specialty Series is designed for deep lake and river fishing when targeting pike and musky.

This line features a 9 meter Type 8 sinking head with a sink rate of 8–8.5 IPS, pulling bulky flies quickly into deep water. The short 1 meter front taper turns over large, air-resistant flies with ease, while the 1 meter back taper allows fast loading and exceptional shootability. The line is overweighted to efficiently load powerful rods.

An intermediate running line eliminates hinge points and provides a smooth, controlled transition into deeper water.

Built on Cortland’s X-Strong braided nylon multifilament core, this line delivers consistent handling, powerful hook sets and excellent performance in cold conditions. The Shooting Technology (ST) coating keeps the line slick, supple and fast shooting.

The dual-color Black / Olive design clearly indicates taper changes while remaining traceable yet stealthy in Esox environments.
