Cortland - Fly Line - Speciality Series - Pike Musky Sink 4

The Cortland Pike Musky Sink 4 from the Specialty Series is Cortland’s most versatile sinking line for targeting pike and musky, designed to cover multiple water columns with a single setup.

This line features a 9 meter Type 4 sinking head with a sink rate of 4–5 IPS, making it ideal for fishing mid-depths and deeper water. The short 1 meter front taper easily turns over large, air-resistant flies, while the 1 meter back taper allows the line to load quickly and shoot effortlessly.

An intermediate running line eliminates hinge points and provides a smooth, controlled transition into deeper water. The line is overweighted to efficiently load fast, powerful rods built for Esox fishing.

Built on Cortland’s X-Strong braided nylon multifilament core, the Pike Musky Sink 4 delivers excellent strength, consistent handling and powerful hook sets, even in the coldest months. The integrated Shooting Technology keeps the line slick, supple and fast shooting.

The dual-color Brown / Gray design clearly marks taper changes while remaining traceable yet stealthy in Esox environments.
