The Cortland Pike Musky Intermediate is part of the Specialty Series, designed to present large, bulky flies effectively in the upper water column when targeting pike and musky.
This line features an overly aggressive head, built with a compact 6 m body that delivers serious power. The short 1 m front taper easily turns over large, air-resistant flies, while the 1 m back taper allows the line to load quickly with minimal false casting. The line is overweighted to efficiently load fast, powerful rods.
Built on Cortland’s X-Strong braided nylon multifilament core, this line provides exceptional strength, consistent handling and solid hook sets, even in the coldest months. The integrated Shooting Technology keeps the line slick, supple and fast shooting.
The dual-color Olive / Green design clearly indicates taper transitions while remaining traceable yet stealthy in Esox environments.
