The Cold Salt Series Striped Bass Sink 8 was developed to effectively fish deep in strong currents, rough conditions and when fish are feeding well below the surface. It is the ideal fly line for quickly delivering large saltwater patterns into the mid to lower water column while maintaining control and stability in wave conditions.

The 8,5 m Type 8 sinking head, with a sink rate of 8–8,5 IPS, features a powerful and compact profile that cuts through wind with ease and efficiently turns over large flies. A short 1 m front taper ensures consistent fly turnover, while the 1 m rear taper allows fast rod loading and excellent shootability.

The intermediate running line removes any hinge effect between the head and the running line, providing a smooth and controlled transition into deeper water. The Cold Salt jacket material remains supple and memory free in the coldest saltwater environments, improving handling and line control. Built on an X-Strong braided nylon multifilament core, this line delivers durability, strength and reliable energy transfer when targeting powerful saltwater species.
