Cortland - Fly Line - Cold Salt Series - Striped Bass Float

The Cortland Cold Salt Series Striped Bass Float is a floating fly line designed for maximum shootability and easy turnover when targeting saltwater species in cold conditions. It is ideal for striped bass, bluefish, false albacore and pike when fast, accurate presentations are critical.

This line features a short, compact head with a powerful 6.5 meter body that loads easily. A short 1.2 meter front taper turns over large and weighted flies efficiently, while the 1.5 meter back taper allows quick loading with minimal false casts when fish are close.

Built on a braided nylon core, the line is finished with Cortland’s Cold Salt coating, keeping it supple and memory-free in cold environments. The Aqua Green and Sky Blue color combination provides excellent visibility without sacrificing stealth.
