The Cortland 444 Classic Full Sinking Type 3 is built for streamer and subsurface fishing in the mid water column. Its density compensated profile delivers a consistent 3–4 IPS sink rate for both lake and river applications.
A slick coating enhances casting distance and feel, while the braided nylon multifilament core remains supple and stable. Slow retrieves excel in deeper water, while faster retrieves keep unweighted flies higher, making this one of the most versatile sinking rates available.
Features:
- Sink rate 3 – 4 IPS
- Easy casting performance
- Front welded loop
- Designed for freshwater use
- Full sinking profile
- Taper: Weight Forward
- Length: 27 m / 90 ft
